Programs – Descriptive Code Missing

The Descriptive Code of a program is a mandatory field in TEAMS. You can update the correct descriptive code from the TGA site (training.gov.au), which will be printed in the result records. For the Program Code field on the Program Entry Screen, **you can have whatever you want as they are internal.**

Under the AVETMISS Programs Tile, you will see “Descriptive Code Missing” with the total count of programs with missing descriptive codes as a link. To update the Descriptive Codes, follow the steps below:

• Click on the Calendar icon and select the required calendar year from the drop-down menu.
• Select the hyperlinked number across Descriptive code missing.
• You will be redirected to the Programs with missing Descriptive Code listing screen.
• Select the Program code, which will open the program entry screen.
• On this screen, add the Program Descriptive Code and save the changes.

Note – After updating the AVETMISS program data for the Program Descriptive Code, refresh the screen to see the updated number against Descriptive Code Missing.
